EDMONTON – A news outlet in Whitecourt, Alberta is reporting the town’s IGA store’s roof collapsed Tuesday morning.
The collapse appears to have happened on the east side of the building, and residents tell Global News it was over the post office section of the store.

My Town Today reports fire crews said the weight of the snow caused the roof to collapse. No injuries were reported.
The roof of the same store collapsed in the winter of 2007. There were no injuries.
The store has been closed indefinitely.
