TORONTO — Five months after she was arrested for allegedly assaulting him in Montreal, Emma Roberts is engaged to Evan Peters.
According to Extra, Peters proposed to Roberts in New York City over the holidays with a pink gold and diamond ring.
The couple is said to have spent New Year’s Eve in London.

Roberts, 22, and Peters, 26, have been a couple for about a year. Neither has publicly confirmed the engagement.
In July, police were called to the St. James Hotel in Montreal following a report of a domestic disturbance. Roberts was taken into custody but later released without charges.
In a statement following the incident, a rep for the actors said “the couple are working together to move past it.”
Peters was in Montreal working on X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Both he and Roberts — the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and niece of Julia Roberts — star in American Horror Story: Coven.
