A Calgary man was arrested after two commercial break-ins in Airdrie last month, RCMP officials said.
Airdrie RCMP said an unknown man entered two commercial properties by breaking the windows of both businesses in Airdrie’s MacKenzie Way commercial complex on Sept. 22 at around 1:40 a.m.
In both cases, police said a “small amount” of cash was taken.
Police also said the man was found to have violated the terms of a release order. He was found in an Airdrie residence, which police say isn’t allowed according to his release conditions.
Tyler Jacon Tost, 40, of Calgary was arrested by Airdrie RCMP and Calgary Police Service officers in relation to the incident. He was charged with:
- Two counts of break-and-enter
- Possession of stolen property under $5,000
- Failing to comply with a release order
Tost is scheduled to appear in court in Calgary on Oct. 31.
