Residents of Golden and the surrounding areas are on edge on Thursday due to a wildfire burning in the Parson area near the B.C.-Alberta border.
The Antler Creek wildfire near Wells and Barkerville is no longer a wildfire of note as it has merged with other fires to become known as the Groundhog Complex.
Officers were called to the 6600 block of King George Boulevard just before midnight following reports of a fight and found a man suffering from stab wounds.
