Nathalie Sturgeon joined the team in the spring of 2021 as a videojournalist in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
She was raised in Miramichi, New Brunswick, and has lived in the province her whole life. She speaks French and shares roots with the Acadian community.
Nathalie attended St. Thomas University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Journalism, Psychology, and Economics.
Before starting with Global News, Nathalie had spent time as a reporter with the Telegraph-Journal in Saint John. She also was the editor-in-chief of the Kings County Record in Sussex and previously worked in broadcast with CBC New Brunswick.
When she’s not chasing stories and shooting videos, Nathalie loves watching hockey games and Formula 1. She has type 1 diabetes.
