The British Columbia Real Estate Association is offering a $10,000 reward for information on the sexual assault of a residential realtor in May.

The BCREA said they will provide the reward for information that leads directly to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the attack.

The female realtor was assaulted in Coquitlam on May 4 during an open house on Rowland Street in Coquitlam.

The realtor was not hurt and was able to convince the man to leave.

RCMP released a sketch of the suspect Wednesday.

The suspect is described as an Asian male in his mid thirties, with dark hair and eyes and some bumps on his face.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a T-shirt, jeans and running shoes.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call police.

The BCREA said realtors should take safety precautions when showing properties or meeting with clients for the first time.

The association advises meeting new clients in the office or a public place, carrying a cell phone at all times and communicating whereabouts to friends, colleagues or family.
