RCMP release new photos in connection with Springbank armed robbery

Cochrane RCMP released new photos of people they would like to speak to in connection with a break-in at a farm shop in Springbank, Alta last month.

RCMP said that on July 27, at around 7 a.m. they were called to robbery in progress.

Before officers arrived, the employees witnessed the suspects loading a truck with property and tried to stop the thieves from leaving.

Dawson Northcott, a ranch hand, followed the truck and attempted to get the license plate. That’s when a second vehicle pulled up and fired a gun at Northcott.

The black Ford F-150 used in the robbery has been found and returned to its owner, RCMP said Friday.

Investigators have released photos of people they believe they may have information regarding the robbery.

Officers warn, if you see the people in the photos to call 911 immediately and do not approach them.

 

The second vehicle involved is a red, higher-end SUV with an Idaho license plate.
