One man has been arrested and police are asking for help finding another wanted for impersonating an undercover police officer.
Police received a number of reports between Sept. 14 and Sept. 18 of people being approached in Brandon and Winnipeg by men claiming to be undercover cops.
According to police, the suspects would approach people and claim they’re undercover officers in the middle of an investigation and the person they approached was a suspect in the investigation. They’d then seize the victims wallets, cash and credit cards.
