Alberta RCMP have one man in custody following a stabbing at the O’Chiese First Nation on Wednesday.
Officers were called to the community at around 7:30 p.m.
The victim, a 37-year-old man, was flown to the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary in life-threatening condition with a single stab wound. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.
RCMP took a 45-year-old suspect into custody immediately upon their arrival at the scene.
Both the victim and the suspect, who hasn’t yet been named, are residents of the O’Chiese First Nation.

The O’Chiese First Nation is located approximately 200 kilometres northwest of Calgary.
