Twenty-six passengers and a driver escaped unharmed after a fire broke out on a Greyhound bus Thursday morning.
It happened at approximately 6:40 a.m. on the Trans-Canada Highway about 19 kilometres west of Field.
The highway remained closed in both directions for several hours and passengers were shuttled to the Field Visitor Centre. Greyhound officials said a relief bus was sent from Banff to take passengers the rest of the way to Calgary. They arrived around 11 a.m.
Reeves said he and one other passenger lost their luggage in the fire, including clothes and electronics.
