Masked man makes off with cash from Saskatoon business

A masked man made off with undisclosed amount of cash after robbing Saskatoon business late Monday evening. Vytai Brannan / Global News

SASKATOON – A business in a Saskatoon strip mall was robbed late Monday evening. Police say a man entered the business at the mall located at Assiniboine and Warman Road just before 10:30 p.m.

He demanded money from the lone employee. He then took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was seen by the employee.

A search by patrol officers and canine units failed to turn up the suspect.

He is described as aboriginal, between 20 and 30 with a medium build. He was wearing a blue hoodie with a black bandana over his face and grey shorts.
