TORONTO – Police are investigating after a man was injured during a violent armed robbery caught on camera in Scarborough.

The incident happened Tuesday evening shortly before 8 p.m. at a convenience store inside an apartment building in Scarborough.

The video clearly shows two men dressed in black enter the store carrying guns. They go off-camera, but when they reappear an employee of the store is shoved into a display. One suspect points his gun at the man while he’s dragged off-camera.

Police tell Global News the man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The daughter of the store owner told Global News in a telephone interview the convenience store had also been robbed three months ago. Police say the store has been robbed at least four times over the past decade. But police don’t think the suspects are the same people who robbed the store three months ago.
