WINNIPEG — Brian Bowman updated Winnipeggers on his track record after his 100th day in office as mayor.
Soon after he was elected on Oct. 22, Bowman issued a long list of things he wanted to accomplish in his first 100 days.
His office said the mayor met every goal except one — the deadline for hiring a new chief administrative officer for the city, which was pushed back to March. Bowman suspended interim CAO Deepak Joshi last month, saying he had lost confidence in him.

Bowman said he is still confident he can follow through on all his election promises, including finishing all rapid transit routes by 2030 and opening the Portage Avenue and Main Street intersection to pedestrians.
“Winnipeggers will hold me accountable on those,” he said.
Bowman did hint again the upcoming city budget will be very tough. He wouldn’t go in to detail on what changes could be coming.
