Crown concludes its case in Cyr trial

REGINA – The mother of two-year old Natalia Shingoose took the stand in her daughter’s murder trial again today.

The toddler was found badly beaten in her home in June 2012.

Amanda Trevors has been on the stand since last Thursday. Monday, the defense accused her of framing Adam Cyr, her then-boyfriend who is charged with second degree murder. Trevors has denied all accusations.

Tuesday, the defense continued their cross-examination and the crown re-examined her in the afternoon. The crown has now concluded its case. The defense will call their first witness to the stand Wednesday morning.
