TORONTO – Police are searching for two male suspects in connection to a home invasion in York region where 51-year-old woman was tied up and held captive overnight.
The incident happened just after 4 a.m. at a residence on Woodward Avenue near Yonge and Steeles in Thornhill.

York Regional Police say the suspects confined the victim and then took her throughout the house where they allegedly proceeded to steal cash and jewelry.
The two men then fled the scene on foot. Police say the female victim was unharmed.
The suspects are described as white, one is five-feet seven-inches tall and the other five-feet eight-inches in height.
Both were wearing a scarf covering their faces.
