CALGARY – The City of Calgary will host a free Grey Cup celebration in the city’s downtown core on Tuesday.

Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi tweeted plans for the party while on the field at BC Place on Sunday, as the Calgary Stampeders celebrated their 20-16 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The rally will be held at Municipal Plaza and Olympic Plaza on December 2nd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“The Stamps’ win was absolutely thrilling, and I know that Calgarians want to come together and celebrate with the team,” said Mayor Nenshi in a Monday news release.

Calgarians who attend the event will be able to listen to players and coaches reflect on the season and their championship game.
