RIVIERE-DES-PRAIRIES – A molotov cocktail was thrown through the window of a hair salon in Rivière-des-Prairies late Friday night.
The incident happened around 1.a.m at Karizma Coiffure on 9591 Gouin boulevard East.
Residents living above the hair salon were evacuated as firefighters extinguished the flame.

Witnesses told police they saw an SUV quickly fleeing from the scene just moments after the cocktail was thrown.
There was not a lot of damage to the site.
