MARK CRITCH – Canadian comedian Mark Critch is co-host on the national edition of The Morning Show. He currently stars in the movie The Grand Seduction.

THE GRAND SEDUCTION – The stars of the Canadian comedy film The Grand Seduction joins us in-studio to talk about the success of the movie and being shortlisted for Best Picture at the Canadian Screen Awards. The Grand Seduction is based on the 2003 film Seducing Doctor Lewis. The film was premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.

ROOKIE BLUE – Actors Gregory Smith and Melissa Peregrym both star in the television series Rookie Blue. The season premiere airs May 19. Season 4 ended with Sam getting shot at the precinct and Andy McNally confessing her love to him during the ambulance ride.

FIGHTING OBESITY – A set of recommendations aimed at the prevention of childhood obesity will be unveiled this week by the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario. Primary Prevention of Childhood Obesity (2nd edition) provides recommendations for nurses and other health professionals to help prevent child obesity.

ATTIRE IN THE WORKPLACE – There have been instances in the past where employees have been reprimanded for wearing certain clothing in the workplace. Stuart Rudner is a lawyer in Canadian Employment Law and joins us in-studio to talk about what you are allowed to wear in a workplace setting.

KING STREET WEST – West owner Glen Baxter and Toronto Star columnist Christopher Hume discuss the changing face of Toronto’s King Street West neighbourhood. West is a new restaurant geared towards the 5 to 7 crowd.
