COVID-19: Saskatchewan updates testing guidance, reduces self-isolation period
Description
December 30, 2021
Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe said on Thursday that individuals who test positive for COVID-19 after taking a rapid test should assume they are infected and immediately self-isolate. Previously, people were instructed to take a PCR test to confirm diagnosis. Moe also said the province would be reducing the self-isolation period from 10 days to five for fully vaccinated individuals.

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe said on Thursday that individuals who test positive for COVID-19 after taking a rapid test should assume they are infected and immediately self-isolate. Previously, people were instructed to take a PCR test to confirm diagnosis. Moe also said the province would be reducing the self-isolation period from 10 days to five for fully vaccinated individuals.
