Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced on Wednesday that the province is rolling out a COVID-19 vaccine certification program on Sept. 22 due to rising cases. Ford said the he and other premiers had asked the federal government for a vaccine passport, but when that call went unanswered in part due to the federal election, his government is now stepping up.
