A driver was taken into custody following a single-vehicle crash on 5th Line in Selwyn Township, west of Chemong Road on Tuesday night.
It happened around 7 p.m. A witness at the scene told Global Peterborough he saw the vehicle speeding in the area, and later found the SUV in a ditch after it hit a tree.
OPP on Wednesday morning said the driver charged with drug-impaired driving and determined the vehicle had been reported stolen about an hour earlier from Peterborough.
