Winnipeg Mayor Brian Bowman said on Friday that he’s “disappointed” in the province for not taking “the proactive measures” he and doctors were calling for as the city deals with rising COVID-19 case counts and a rapidly rising test positivity rate. He said the province has needed strong and proactive leadership “for some time.”
