Global Winnipeg's Gabrielle Marchand caught up with Winnipeg's Mayor Brian Bowman. Over his career, Bowman states one of his goals was to restore Winnipeg's confidence in the city hall. Bowman highlighted improvements to infrastructure and developments towards reconciliation and human rights as two of his career's key accomplishments. He added that Winnipeg still has work to do when it comes to supporting communities grappling with homelessness, mental health and addiction. Winnipeg will elect its 44th mayor on Oct. 26.
