Trump says he will sign executive orders to ‘massively’ reduce drug prices, including by importing from Canada

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that he would sign four executive orders that would lead to a “massive reduction” in drug costs. He said it would restructure the prescription drug market, including allowing the safe and legal importation of prescription drugs from Canada and other countries. He said an “identical drug” may have a much lower price tag elsewhere than a drug made in the U.S.
