Education minister highlights changes in new draft of social studies curriculum

The province is releasing its fourth draft of the new social studies curriculum for Kindergarten to Grade 6. This comes after the previous draft, released in March, was heavily criticized by a group of educators and researchers who were invited to help develop the curriculum. Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides spoke with Breanna Karstens-Smith on Global News at Noon to speak about the new draft.
