B.C. wine awards help entire industry compete on world stage: wineries

The Best of Varietal Awards took place in Penticton on Wednesday night to choose the best B.C. wines.

In an increasingly competitive industry that includes almost 300 B.C. wineries producing thousands of wines, awards are seen as a necessity to stand out.
