Some Penticton area residents have come up with a new plan to help protect a popular recreation area from logging.
Despite opposition, BC Timber Sales is not backing down from a controversial plan to begin cutting next year near trails in the Upper Carmi area.
Now, as Shelby Thom reports, several groups are teaming up, hoping to have the area designated a community forest.
