100-year-old Sicamous bridge to be replaced

The community of Sicamous is dissected by the Eagle River. There’s only one way to drive from one part to the other and that’s a bridge that was built nearly 100 years ago.

Replacing it will cost millions, which is too much of a tax burden for the population of 3,000. But a funding announcement made today means work on a new bridge can begin.

As Kimberly Davidson reports, its coming just in the nick of time.
