Emergency crews rushed to the scene of an explosion in Elmwood Sunday morning, where they found a gutted vintage motor home surrounded by blackened debris.

STARS said an air ambulance was called to St. Brieux, Sask., for an emergency involving a propane tank explosion which injured two people.

A man is in custody and charged with assaulting an officer after he threw a propane tank through a cruiser window. Police were in the area on an unrelated call in the North End Wednesday.

Fire officials said the blaze started inside the garage of the townhouse and quickly spread throughout the home.

A home in Winnipeg's Charleswood exploded into flames Thursday morning according to witnesses. 

A man has been taken to hospital after his car crashed into a propane fueling tank on 25th Avenue in Vernon Wednesday.
