CANWOOD, Sask. – RCMP have seized a large number of marijuana plants after busting a grow-op at a northern Saskatchewan residence.
On Saturday, police were called to a residence in the R.M. of Canwood where they discovered marijuana.
Two people, Marcia McMahon, 26, and Quincy Watier, 31, were arrested.
A search turned up 191 marijuana plants along with 150 grams of hash and 30 grams of marijuana.
The street value is estimated at $4,500.
The pair have been charged with production of marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking and have court dates in January.
