Guest house, barn destroyed in fire north of Saskatoon

SASKATOON – A guest house and a barn have been destroyed after a fire north of Saskatoon on Tuesday morning.

The fire at the two structures on an acreage just off Highway 11 was reported at 9:19 a.m.

Fire crews from Saskatoon, Warman and Martensville arrived to find flames coming from the roof of the barn/workshop.

It took around 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported and damage is estimated at $200,000.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
