Saskatoon suspicious death now considered homicide

Investigators with the Saskatoon Police Service restricted access to Range Road 3062 near the intersection of 11th Street West on Tuesday to examine a truck located in the ditch as well as the surrounding area. Police say the investigation into the suspicious death of a 44-year-old woman on the outskirts of Saskatoon is now being considered a homicide. – Feb 7, 2023

A suspicious death on the outskirts of Saskatoon is now considered a homicide by Saskatoon police.

The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said two people of interest were taken into custody – a 37-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man.

The victim was identified as a 44-year-old Saskatoon woman. Her name was not released at the request of family.

An investigation was underway Tuesday morning into the death.

SPS said traffic was restricted on Range Road 3062 near the intersection with 11th Street West as the major crime section and forensic identification section investigated.
