One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Flamborough overnight.
Hamilton police say the collision happened around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday in an area around Centre Road between Concession Road 11 and Concession Road 12.
“Police arrived on scene to find a vehicle in the ditch engulfed in flames,” const. Indy Bharaj told Global News.
“Hamilton Fire responded and were able to put out the fire.”
Paramedics say the deceased was pronounced dead at the scene while another person, in their 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say a collision reconstruction team is investigating.
It’s beleived the vehicle, occupied by two people, lost control on Centre Road and left the roadway striking a hydro pole just south of Mountsberg Conservation Area.
