TORONTO — DJ and former Jersey Shore star Pauly D confirmed Tuesday he is a dad.
The 33-year-old, whose real name is Paul DelVecchio, said he has a daughter with a 26-year-old woman he met in Las Vegas.

In a statement to media outlets, the DJ said he is proud to be a father. “I am excited to embark on this new part of my life.”
The girl was born several months ago and lives with her mother, whose identity has not been made public.
Pauly D retweeted several messages of congratulations on Tuesday.
Pauly D rose to fame as one of the stars of the Jersey Shore, which ran from 2009 to 2012. According to Forbes, he earned $13 million last year from his DJ gigs, clothing line and endorsement deals.
