Global News is projecting that longtime councillor Ron Paull has defeated incumbent Bob Simpson in the race for mayor.
Early results had Paull with just over 50 per cent of the vote, with Simpson next at just over 40 per cent.
Global News projected that elected to council were Scott Elliott, Mitch Vik, Laurey-Anne Roodenburg, Tony Goulet and Martin Runge, all incumbents, plus newcomer Debra McKelvie.
