Residents of Prince Rupert appear to have chosen their next mayor and council in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.
Global News projects Herb Pond will be the next mayor of the coastal community.
Joining Pond on the council, Global News projects, will be Barry Cunningham, Wade Niesh, Reid Skelton-Morven, Nick Adey and Gurvinder S Randhawa, along with newcomer Teri Forster.
