Police in Kingston, Ont. ask public to avoid stretch of Van Order Drive

Kingston police are asking the public to avoid a stretch of Van Order Drive between Norman Rogers Drive and MacPherson Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

Police say there is no risk to public safety, but an incident has occurred which requires motorists and pedestrians to steer clear of the area.

Police encourage those who normally drive that area to choose an alternative route.
