TORONTO – A video of a police officer dancing while directing traffic in Manhattan may soon be a viral hit.

Uploaded on YouTube last week, Paul Boulat was on his way to work in New York when a female police officer began to show off her impressive dance skills (seen around the 1:00 mark) while directing traffic at the busy intersection at 59th Street and 3rd Avenue.

Despite the officer’s stellar moves, most pedestrians and drivers appear seemingly oblivious to the officer’s buoyant behaviour.

This isn’t the first time a police officer has been caught on camera dancing while directing traffic. In this video posted in 2011, an officer is seen rotating his body and wiggling his hips while directing traffic in the Philippines.
