15-year-old boy dies after shooting in Toronto’s East York neighbourhood

Global News has learned a 15-year-old boy is the latest victim of gun violence after a shooting in Toronto’s East York neighbourhood Wednesday night.

Toronto police said they were called to Gamble Avenue, near Pape and Cosburn avenues, at around 11:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting at an apartment building.

When officers arrived, they found the teenager suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead on scene, police said.

Investigators have not released any information on suspects.
