CALGARY- A major gas leak caused emergency crews to rush to the southwest on Friday afternoon.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Cougar Ridge Landing.

So far there is no word what caused the link, but officials say it is ‘significant.’
Police and fire crews are now working to stop the leak and block off nearby roads. Evacuations could also be ordered.
Old Banff Coach Road is currently blocked off from 77 Street to Coach Hill Road.
