The Sea to Sky Highway was closed in both directions for five hours due to a head-on car crash Tuesday morning.
It has now fully reopened to traffic.
Squamish RCMP said they received multiple reports of a serious crash just north of Porteau Cove around 9 a.m.
Two people were involved in the crash and have been transported to local hospitals.
Police determined one of the cars involved in the crash was stolen. That driver sustained serious and potentially critical injuries, police said.
Police do not know the extent of the injuries of the other driver at this time.
