6,000 plants seized from cannabis grow-op

LACHUTE – The Sûreté du Québec and the RCMP in Laurentides-Lanaudière-Outaouais are investigating one person in connection with a cannabis grow-op.

According to police, they dismantled the outdoor production site and seized more than 6,000 marijuana plants.

The individual was arrested on site and faces charges of cannabis production.

The suspect will appear in court at a later date.
