2 people injured in south Calgary collision: police

Calgary police said two people were injured in a collision on the south side of the city Thursday afternoon.

Police said a vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Bow Bottom Trail and Canyon Meadows Drive S.E., and a person was outside the vehicle when it was hit by a second vehicle.

Police said one of the people involved in the crash was seriously injured.

Bow Bottom Trail was closed in and around the scene while the traffic reconstruction team investigated the serious crash.

There has been no information released on the cause of the collision.
