Canada election results: Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle

Liberal candidate Anju Dhillon is the projected winner in the riding of Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle.

This urban riding of Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle is located in Montreal Island. It covers a portion of the former ridings of LaSalle—Émard and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce—Lachine. The neighbourhoods in the district include LaSalle, Lachine and Dorval.

Nearly 31 per cent of residents in the riding are immigrants. Arabic, Spanish, and Mandarin were deemed some of the most popular non-official mother tongues.

In the 2019 election, Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle voters re-elected Liberal incumbent Anju Dhillon. Dhillon managed to capture 52.9 per cent of the vote. BQ candidate Jean-Frédéric Vaudry came in second place with 17.1 per cent.
