A 14-year-old boy has died following a collision in Trenton, Ont.
The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating the incident, which happened Thursday around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of King Street and Dufferin Avenue in Trenton.
OPP have now identified the deceased as Christopher Bishop from Quinte West.
The teen was on a scooter when he was struck by a vehicle, police say.

Bishop was taken to hospital by paramedics in critical, life-threatening condition and was later pronounced dead.
In Quinte West, flags will be lowered to half-mast at city hall until Monday morning in memory of the deceased.
“Our community is saddened to learn of the accidental death of a young boy yesterday. He was enjoying a sunny spring day, and so he should. Life is so precious,” said Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison on Friday.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. We also thank the first responders and all involved. Please take care of each other,” he said.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) and Reconstruction teams investigated.
