A 45-year-old motorcyclist is in life-threatening condition after crashing into a downtown Toronto fence Thursday evening, officials say.
Emergency crews were called to Parliament Street, just south of Lake Shore Boulevard East, at around 7 p.m.
Police said the man was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle when “for unknown reasons, the rider lost control of the motorcycle and struck the curb on the south side of the roadway causing the rider to fall off the motorcycle.”
A Toronto Paramedics spokesperson told Global News the man was taken to a trauma centre with critical injuries.
