Police arrest three men in connection to recent murder

TORONTO – Police have now arrested three men in connection to the day-time murder of Christopher Kotsopoulos.

Emergency Task Force officers conducted multiple search warrants near Swansea Mews where Kotsopoulos, 26, was shot and killed just before 5:30 p.m. on Monday at the Queensway Windermere housing complex.

Investigators say Kotsopoulos was involved in an altercation between five other men when he was shot three times in broad daylight.

Christopher Shaw, 21, has been charged with second degree murder.

“Witnesses presented themselves almost immediately and provided statements to the police as to what they saw in and around the day of the shooting,” said Detective Sargeant Pauline Gray during a press conference on Friday.

At the morning press conference, police announced the names of two other people that were wanted in connection to the murder. Friday afternoon, 23-year-old Eli Goldman and 26-year-old Jeffrey Truong were arrested and charged with second degree murder.

Police are still searching for two other men connected to the murder.

Toronto Police are commending the residents in the Swansea Mews complex for providing police with information.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call police.
