Police in Surrey, B.C., say a missing nine-year-old has been located and is safe.

Police issued an alert for the girl Saturday, after she was last seen around 4 p.m., Friday, near 99th Avenue and 122 Street in Surrey.

Police thanked the public for their assistance.
