TORONTO — Does reality show star Kat Von D have a thing for Canadian men?
The L.A. Ink artist and author of Go Big or Go Home was spotted in Los Angeles on Tuesday on a date with comedian Tom Green — only a month after she split from music producer Deadmau5.
Von D, 31, helped Green celebrate his 42nd birthday with a stop at the Pop Killer store in West Hollywood before apparently taking in a movie at the ArcLight Cinema.

She started the day by tweeting “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TO THE ONE AND ONLY @TomGreenLive!” (whcih Green retweeted) and ended it with “Terrific Tuesday!!!”
In June, Von D used Twitter to announce that she and Toronto-based DJ Deadmau5 — a native of Niagara Falls, Ont. — had broken off their engagement. She also accused him of infidelity.
“Cheating on your loved one is the most hurtful thing one could do,” Von D tweeted.
Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, responded via Facebook that he “was not, at any point, unfaithful to Kat.”
The two were set to marry in August.
Green, a successful stand-up comic and talk show host, had a short-lived marriage to actress Drew Barrymore in 2001. Born in Pembroke, Ont., he grew up in an Ottawa suburb.
