Coquitlam RCMP confirms a man has been shot in what they believe to be a targeted incident Monday morning.
Police were called at 9:34 a.m. to the 1500-block of Broadway Street where they found the man with gunshot wounds.
Witnesses told them they saw a black vehicle speeding away from the scene, RCMP said.
Fortunately, no bystanders were injured.
In a release, police said the black vehicle was last seen heading northbound on Broadway and officers are asking anyone in the area at the time to review their dashcam footage.
